Raraou is a new Cantina – Bar – Restaurant in the touristic area of Exarchia in Athens, an all day bar that offers great coffee, delicious food and late night coctails. The Gipsy tradition is Raraou’s strongest decorative reference. The owners wanted to create a friendly, relaxing atmosphere that feels like home. Coloured tiles cover the walls, hand-drawn tables and chairs  make up most of the available furniture giving Raraou a homemade air. “Like home” was the lighting brief as well. Creative Lighting suggested using old domestic practicals, chandeliers and table lamps in order to highlight the cozy atmosphere. Warm shades of white light reflect on the golden walls, creating an eye-pleasing visual output.
